Sites to Help You Stay on Task

November 14, 2012

The days are getting shorter, don’t you wish your to-do list would do the same? I always seem to be buried in sticky notes, grocery lists, overdue library books, unanswered emails, and oh my, excuse me while I huff and puff into this paper bag.

Luckily, there are lots of (free) resources for people like me, who need a little organizational help.  Do you use any websites or apps to keep you organized? Let me know in the comments!

Teux Deux is a dead simple site where you can manage all your to-do’s.  The minimalist design and user-friendly format will have you crossing things off in no time.

Remember the Milk allows you to make more complex to-do lists, with priority levels, due dates, and tags to keep you organized.  This one is for a more advanced list-maker.

My Tomatoes is probably my favorite of the bunch.  A simple timer-based approach (following the Pomodoro Technique), where you work for 25 minutes straight, and when the timer goes off, you write down what you did, take a break, and restart the timer.  Try it out!
