Weekend Project: Wattle Fences

May 2, 2013

We have a beautiful local children’s garden, and we visit weekly throughout the spring and summer. Last week, we were there with some friends, and we were all admiring the wattle fences scattered throughout the gardens. Some are low and used as edging for the beds, and some are taller and function as screens or dividers.

They are so beautiful! They seem pretty easy to diy–and much cheaper than commercial garden edging or screens. Check out the diy on Mother Earth News and build some wattle fences in your garden this weekend!
