Columbus Home Restoration: Columbus Underground

July 11, 2013

Anyone who lives in an older home knows that they come with various blessings and curses. Built-in cabinets and shelves, ornate woodwork, and high ceilings are balanced by poor insulation, old windows, leaky roofs, and sometimes sketchy wiring and plumbing. For Melissa and Tyler Evans, the pros outweighed the cons when they purchased their home overlooking Franklin Park.  The home had been vacant for 25 years before the couple began renovations, so I can’t imagine what state it must have been in when they first saw it.  After 8 months of hard work, the home is fully restored and back to its grand old self.
