For Sale: Picasso’s Final Home

September 10, 2013

We feature a lot of celebrity real estate here on Excellence at Home, but today’s property is really something special. In a field of poppies in France is the estate where Picasso spent his final years and completed many of his last paintings before is death in 1973.

The home, named Domaine L’Antre du Minotaure, has been totally restored. The improvements and the history of the property make for a pretty hefty price tag of $220 million. To be fair, the price includes a 10 bedroom main house, a guard house and a studio, along with tennis courts, swimming pools, and a health club. Not to mention the incredible history of the place.
