How To: Change Your Address

December 27, 2013

There’s no question that moving can be a complicated endeavor. Between the house hunt, the negotiations, the purging, the packing, the moving, the unpacking, the organizing, and all the little hassles along the way, getting out of one home and into another is overwhelming at times. But you know, the thing that always gets me is the address changing. Making sure that my new address is on everything, from my driver’s license to my phone bill, is such a tedious job! Usually, I think I got everything until something bad happens, like a late bill, or worse, a ticket for not having the right address on my license (oops). has created a handy checklist that should cover all your bases, so you’re not caught off guard when the police officer is asking you where you live now. Print it out, and make sure you contact everyone!
