Invisible Barn

April 17, 2014

When it comes to covering the exterior of your home, there are dozens of finishes to choose from; siding, shingles, stucco, bricks, and stone can be seen in just about any neighborhood, and usually these coverings are meant to make a home stand out. But what if you wanted to blend in or even disappear?

Check out this super-camoflauged barn in Long Island. It’s coated in a mirror film and plunked into the middle of a park. The film does such a great job of hiding the structure of the home, it starts to look like the windows are floating in mid air! So cool. Right now, it’s on public display, and people are encouraged to climb inside and check it out.
