Ohio Ranks Most Improved State for Cyclists This Year

The League of American Bicyclists just ranked each state on its friendliness to cyclists, and guess who jumped up 16 spots since 2013? Ohio! The League scored states based on their laws and policies regarding the safety and acceptance of cyclists, and Ohio’s doing pretty well in every category. CoGo’s bikeshare program, which came to Ohio last year, probably had something to do with the improvement. Washington ranked number 1 in al categories, while Alabama came in 50th place overall. Be sure to wear your helmets, Alabama bikers!
