A DIY Kitchen Customization

June 23, 2014

If your kitchen cabinets look like the majority of mid-range cabinets that were installed between 1965-2000, you’ve probably got that weird gap between the tops of your cabinets and the ceiling. What a waste of space! I just ran across such a genius solution to this problem, and best of all, most folks could easily DIY this for very little money, and end up with more storage and a custom look. All you need to do is raise your cabinets to the ceiling, and install a shelf below them.

I love how this looks! Would it work in your kitchen?
