Most Accident Prone Intersections in Central Ohio

If you commute to work every day in Central Ohio, you may not be surprised by this recent report of the most dangerous intersections in the area from the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission. Topping the list of areas to avoid is Broad Street, with no less than seven of the most accident-prone intersections, followed by Cleveland Avenue, with six dangerous intersections.

For the every day driver, this list may not be super helpful, but they do help our local governments decide how to mete out their transportation budgets. “We are working closely with our members and the Ohio Department of Transportation to identify engineering, education, and enforcement strategies that can help reduce injuries and deaths resulting from traffic crashes,” said Kerstin Carr, MORPC Director of Planning & Environment.
