With Halloween just a few short weeks away, now is the perfect time to plan an outing to select the perfect pumpkin. Usually, we hit up the beautiful options at Trader Joe’s, but this year, we headed out the Pigeon Roost Farm to find our dream squash. Friends, the weather was not on our side. Even though we woke up to pea sized hail, we still decided to head to Hebron. It continued to rain and sleet throughout the day, and the wind was quite fierce. We braved the elements and hit up the fun area ($6 apiece) and really did have a great time, despite the blustery weather. The Gerbil Wheels were especially fun/terrifying, and our three year old really enjoyed the playgrounds, giant rocking horses, and long hillside slides.

There are lots of other you-pick pumpkin patches in the rolling farmland that surrounds Columbus, too, if you’re looking for something a bit closer to home. Experience Columbus has a great list with links to each one. Check it out here.
