November 6, 2014

Mark Twain’s home in Hartford, Connecticut

Most all of the greatest authors of our times ended up a little rich and a little crazy, so it’s fun to see the the places that they called home. From a huge estate in Russia to a rustic farmhouse in Scotland, Architectural Digest has gathered photos of the homes of ten famous authors. The histories that they include with each house is fascinating, and the homes themselves are pretty spectacular. Check out all ten here on Architectural Digest.
