Moving with Pets

Our sweet Maxwell, just before we moved from Kentucky to Ohio

If you’ve got pets, you know that moving can be sort of a crapshoot as far as their reaction goes. Some pets are super adaptable and settle right in to their new digs, while others pee everywhere and ruin your brand new house. We’ve got a fairly old dog who is an experienced mover (he’s got seven moves under his belt!), and usually has no trouble, but as he’s aged, we’ve tried to make the transitions easier for him. There are some things you can do to help your pet deal with the changes that moving brings. There are tips all over the internet, but I like the list over on Classic with a Pop. She recently moved across a few states with her sweet hound and shares how she helped her pup get through it. Check it out here.
